The Kona’s Basics

Don’t settle for boring, plain-looking SUVs. The new 2021 Kona proves that SUVs can be fun to drive while also retaining all of their versatility and functionality.

For years, the Hyundai Kona has provided drivers with practical driving experiences. But this year, the Kona has gotten a new, bold, playful look along with some new features that make driving even more enjoyable.

Pricing and Trims

There are 6 trims available for the 2021 Kona. Any trim you choose will be getting you a quality vehicle with affordable pricing. Your first option is the SE, which starts at about $20,500. Then you have the SEL which will run you around $22,300, or the SEL Plus for about $24,150. You might also want to consider the Night trim for $26,200.

If you want to go all out with your vehicle, you may want to opt for one of the last two trims. The Limited will cost you about $26,200, and the Ultimate will cost about $28,150. All of these trims come standard with front-wheel drive, but you can add on all-wheel drive for just $1,500 more.

Technology

There are several key safety features that you’ll find on the new Hyundai Kona. Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning will let you know if there’s a vehicle coming while you’re in reverse. Blind Spot Collision Warning will make sure you’re always aware of what’s going on around you. And Lane Keeping Assist will help you stay where you need to be.

You’ll also enjoy the car’s connectivity technology which makes it easy to connect your phone to the car’s infotainment system.

Engine

The 2021 Kona has two powertrains available. The first one is a 147-horsepower four-cylinder engine that’s available on the SE and SEL trims. If you’ve decided to go with the Limited or Ultimate trims, then you’ll be driving a 175-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

Either one of these engines will provide you with a fun, smooth, and responsive driving experience. You can also expect some great fuel economy with both engines.

Interior

Inside the 2021 Kona, you’ll find a delightfully modern and simplistic yet still aesthetically pleasing design. The leather-wrapped steering wheel feels good to the touch, and the seating is comfortable.

There’s also lots of space in the 2021 Kona. This means that whether you’re traveling with people or equipment, there’s room for it all. Fold down the seats for more room, or if you’re hauling larger items around.

If you’re looking for a reliable, durable SUV that’s fun to drive and looks good too, then the 2021 Kona is the perfect vehicle. With so many incredible features, it’s no wonder this is a critic favorite. Head down to Mike Kelly Hyundai and hop behind the wheel of the new Kona today.

Pizza in Butler, PA

It’s a source of constant debate here in our town: where can you get the very best pizza in the area? We’ve got plenty of great pizzerias to choose from here in Butler, PA, so the question can be a controversial one. To add our voice to this ongoing argument, we decided to put together a list of our five favorite spots to grab a slice here in town. Check them out for a pie that is sure to please.

1. Mac’s Brick Oven Pizzeria

If you’ve never experienced the difference a brick oven makes in the taste of your pie’s crust, you’ve got to get down to Mac’s to give their authentic brick-oven style pies. Their White Traditional pie shows you that you don’t need tomato sauce to make a decent slice, topped with fresh garlic, oregano, basil, a blend of mozzarella and parmesan cheese with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil for a refreshing flavor.

2. Villa Grande Ristorante and Pizzeria

While any of the Italian classics served up at Villa Grande are worth checking out, it’s hard to beat the pies they bake up here. Our favorite is their Ricotta and Meatballs pie, with homemade meatballs complimented perfectly by dollops of ricotta cheese and fresh mozzarella, all served on a base of San Marzano tomato sauce. Get yours with a side of their tasty tomato bruschetta.

3. Tani’s

Conveniently located just off of Butler Street, Tani’s is the go-to spot for many locals when they’re craving a slice. After trying it out for ourselves, we can certainly see why. We tried the Florence pie, and were treated to some zesty flavors from the ricotta cheese, spinach, and fresh tomatoes that come on it. Be sure you save enough room to try their cannoli dish for desert.

4. Natili North

Family owned and operated since 1973, Natili North will serve you a slice that you’ll taste the years of family tradition in with every bite. Start out with an order of their famous French-fried mushrooms for a real treat to get your tastebuds going. When it comes time for your pie, we like their Buffalo Chicken the best. Provolone cheese combines with perfectly seasoned buffalo chicken with just the right amount of spicy kick.

5. Anna Maria’s

The team at Anna Maria’s takes pride in making their pies the old-fashioned way: hand-tossed and home-made. The result is some seriously impressive flavors. You’ll love the sweet and savory combination of their Hawaiian pie, with pineapple and ham working together beautifully to make a one-of-a-kind taste. For a decadent treat afterwards, order a fresh-baked peanut butter filled brownie.

We really appreciated the friendly service these pizzerias gave to us on our visit and that they give every day to members of our community. We keep that same sort of community spirit alive at our dealership, striving to treat every customer like the neighbors you are. Come on in to Mike Kelly Hyundai to experience the local difference!
