A white Hyundai Santa Fe

The 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe is Hyundai’s mid-size SUV and seeks to balance good value with a modern, ergonomic design and a wide selection of features, including multiple engine options. Keep reading to learn more about four main highlights in the 2023 Santa Fe.

Four Available Engines

The standard 2.5L four-cylinder engine at 191 horsepower is more than enough to give the Santa Fe a sporty feel on the road while still maintaining an average combined 26 mpg rating for FWD and 24 MPG in AWD, but you can upgrade to a turbocharged 2.5L four-cylinder that kicks it up a notch at 281 horsepower and an average fuel efficiency rating of 25 mpg in FWD and 24 MPG in AWD.

If you’re looking to make the switch to an electric vehicle, the Santa Fe has two hybrid powertrains to choose from. The regenerative braking hybrid pairs a turbocharger 1.6L at 178 horsepower with an electric motor for an average 34 mpg combined rating, while the plug-in hybrid offers the same engine with a more powerful electric motor and battery that at 33 combined mpg and an all-electric range of 30 miles.

Contemporary Interior

The Santa Fe last received a small update to its interior in the 2022 model year, and the 2023 model continues to improve upon that ergonomic and modern design. With 60-40 folding rear seats that can be upgraded to be self-folding, plenty of cargo space in the trunk, and available leather trim and accents, the 2023 Santa Fe is both luxurious and practical.

The standard 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the central console can be upgraded to a massive 10.25-inch screen with built-in navigation, and paired with a premium 12-speaker sound system. Voice recognition capability is standard on the SEL trim and above, as is integration with Hyundai’s BlueLink remote services program that can keep you connected to your car through your smartphone.

Standard Safety Features

Hyundai offers a comprehensive suite of modern safety features as standard on the 2023 Santa Fe, including lane departure warning sensors, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning, automated emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, smart cruise control with stop-and-go capabilities, and a driver attention warning feature that will alert you when it’s time to take a break on longer trips.

Generous Warranty Coverage

Hyundai’s warranty coverage is among the most comprehensive on the market today. All new vehicles are covered under the standard limited warranty of five years or 60,000 miles, while the powertrain is covered for 10 years or 100,000 miles.
