If you visit a Hyundai dealer and are interested in a compact SUV, then the 2023 Hyundai Venue will grab your attention. Bold styling, coupled with outstanding performance, makes it a vehicle that you should look at in detail.

Trim Levels

There are three models to choose from in the 2023 Venue lineup, the SE, SEL, and Limited. With all three sharing the same engine and transmission, the distinctions between each come down to spec variations and a few cosmetic differences.

Exterior Features

First impressions count, and its styling does not let the Venue down in appearance. A bold black front grille (chrome on the Limited) and strong lines set the tone. These features are offset with dark gray trim framing the bottom of the doors and by uniquely styled 17-inch alloys and roof rails available on the SEL and Limited.

Interior Layout

The interior cabin is well thought out, with the Venue making excellent use of the 91.9 cu ft of room available to passengers. There is good legroom of 41.3 inches and 34.3 inches in the front and rear, respectively, while there is also between 18.7 and 31.9 cu ft of cargo space, depending on whether the rear seat is up or down.

Performance Specifications

The engine that powers the lineup is a Smartstream 1.6L, 4-cylinder unit that can deliver 121 hp and 113 lb-ft of torque. An Intelligent Variable Transmission compliments the engine, with both the SEL and Limited having a Drive Mode Select function included, allowing the driver to pick sport or snow settings in addition to the standard mode, and all the models come with front-wheel drive.

If you find having to stop too often for gas annoying, the Venue has you covered. With normal driving, you can get up to 29 mpg for driving around the city and 33 mpg when on the highway. Coupled with an 11.9-gallon tank, you have a total driving range of between 345 and 392 miles on a full tank.

Technology Features

A whole host of technology comes with the Venue, much of it to assist the driver and improve safety. Depending on the model, various features of the Hyundai Smart Suite are included, among them, Driver Attention Warning to help protect against concentration lapses and Blind Spot Collision Warning, available on the SEL and Limited.

The 2023 Venue is certainly eye-catching both in terms of looks, comfort, and performance, but to really appreciate its abilities, you need to get in and drive it, and now is a perfect time. Visit us at Mike Kelly Hyundai today, and we can book you a test drive that suits your diary.
