A silver Hyundai Tucson

The 2024 Hyundai Tucson ticks all the family car boxes. It offers great performance, a spacious cabin, and luxury-level quality when it comes to comfort. For 2024, there are four Tucson trim levels to choose from: SE, SEL, XRT, and Limited. Let’s see which of the trims best suits your lifestyle.

SE

The base SE comes with a powerful 2.5L four-cylinder engine that’s the only option across the lineup. It pairs with an eight-speed auto to deliver 187 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. With the standard FWD, the Tucson is rated for 28 mpg combined (25 city/32 highway). The available AWD returns 25 mpg combined (23 city/29 highway).

The SE has 17-inch alloys, LED headlights, and LED daytime running lights that integrate into the bold front grille. Inside, you will get cloth seats, a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, and an 8-inch color touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SE is equipped with safety features, such as forward collision avoidance, blind spot collision avoidance, lane keeping assist, rear cross-traffic avoidance, and smart cruise control.

SEL

The Tucson SEL builds on the base model’s features. The exterior gains 19-inch wheels, roof side rails, and a hands-free smart liftgate with a height adjustment setting. The cabin has upgrades like heated front seats, an 8-way power driver’s seat, and dual-zone automatic temperature control. You also get Hyundai’s Digital Key, which enables keyless functions like unlocking the car and starting the engine.

XRT

The XRT adds bold, aggressive styling to the 2024 Tucson lineup. There’s XRT-exclusive exterior cladding and black-out styling on the front grille, wheels, side steps, and side mirrors. An XRT badge on the rear liftgate sets this trim apart from the rest.

The exclusive black-out styling continues inside, with black H-Tex seating surfaces and a black headliner. Building on the SEL, the XRT adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, LED interior lighting, and ambient lighting. It also gets an upgraded 10.25-inch infotainment system that matches up to the massive instrument cluster next to it.

Limited

Limited is the top-level trim on the Tucson lineup. The exterior looks stylish with dark chrome trim, 19-inch alloys, and premium LED headlights and daytime running lights. There’s a panoramic sunroof that bathes the cabin with natural light. Safety upgrades include highway driving assist, blind spot monitoring, and a surround-view monitor.

The interior oozes luxury with leather-trimmed seats, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel. The driver’s seat has memory settings, and there are paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel to give you control over the gears. Limited upgrades to a Bose Premium audio system for a premium audio experience.

The 2024 Tucson is built with comfort and practicality in mind. It is fun to drive in the city and handles well on moderate trails. If you’d like to test-drive the new Tucson, visit Mike Kelly Hyundai in Butler, PA!
